中美新型大国关系及其在特朗普时期的走向

A New Model of Major-Country Relations Between China and the US and Its Trend in Turmp Period

21世纪以来,随着中美实力对比、战略态势、合作基础、决策环境等方面的重大变化,中美需要创新交往模式。在此背景下,中国提出了构建中美新型大国关系的倡议并付诸努力,但在奥巴马时期效果不佳。特朗普执政后,中美关系实现了低开高走,中美新型大国关系构建也表现得比奥巴马时期有所进步。但从特朗普的个人特质和执政风格看,他对这一问题的接受程度依然有限,而且立场模糊易变。中国应在评估特朗普个人特质和执政风格的基础上,继续推进中美新型大国关系建设,造福两国人民和世界人民。

Starting from the 21st century, China and the US needed to innovate the interaction model with the changes of the strength contrast, strategic situation, cooperation foundation and decision-making environment. In this background, China has proposed the initiative of establish a new model of major-country relations between them, but it could not be effective in Obama period. After Trump came into power, China-US relations became bet- ter gradually and the new model of major-country relations seemed to make headway than before. But Trump＇s personal traits and ruling style show that his acceptance of the issue may still be limited, and the viewpoint is vague and changeable. China should assess Trump＇s personal traits and ruling style, and continue to promote the new model of major-country relations between the two countries, so as to benefit the people of both countries and the world.
