教育决定着一个国家的发展和未来。美国和日本的教育体制各有其特点,在世界上富有盛名。对比美国、日本两国学力评估体系,特别是两个国家最受瞩目的大学入学学力评估制度,可以为我国的高等教育入学评估体系制度改革提供借鉴和参考。大学入学考试学力评估体系帮助和决定高等教育机构能招收到什么样的学生,以及在这个前提下培养出什么层次的人才;同时,也为中等教育持续健康发展指明方向。在我国高等教育发展的进程中,需要不断克服自身问题,同时吸取他国经验,才能更好地改革和进步。

Education is a decisive factor for the development and the future of a country. The education systems in Japan and the United States are famous for its respective characteristics in the world. This paper has made a comparison between Japanese and the United States＇ professional qualification assessment systems, especially the systems of the college entrance enrollment, from which the higher education system in our country can be benefited. The system of the college entrance enrollment helps or even determines what kind of students a university is able to recruit and cultivate. Meanwhile, it also shows guidance for the secondary education guidance, linking up the higher education and secondary education. We need face our own problems and absorb experience from other countries continuously during the process of the higher education development in our country, in order to attain a better reform and progress.
