摘要
ATSC 3.0标准制定按原计划顺利进行,有望于2017年2月在韩国率先启动其市场,而美国则在3~6个月后跟上。为保证各种移动设备对广播业者的无线互联网各种新服务信号的接收,采纳正交频分多工(OFDM)多载波调制是必需的;但以显著增大发射功率为代价。对韩美家庭用户以屋顶天线接收免费收看的4K-HDTV新服务而言,依据中国地面国标(DTMB)融合系统的经验,ATSC 3.0标准可增添单载波(SC)调制可选项,以节省总发射功率约1/4,符合绿色需求。此外,中国大量发展M-SFN组网的经验及大中小微功率相结合,也可供ATSC 3.0在推广应用中参考。
The developments of ATSC 3.0 Standards are in steady pace as scheduled, with its market launch first in South Korea at Feb. 2017, and then followed by USA after 3-6 months. In order to assure the reception of signals from the new Wireless Inter- net services by broadcasters in different mobile devices, OFDM modulation is adopted necessarily, but at the costs of increasing the emission powers. As for the reception of home-users in South Korea and USA, to have free new 4K-UHDTV services by roof- top antenna, as well as from the experience of DTMB merging system in China, Single Carrier (SC) modulation could be added as option, as to save-1/4 of total emission powers, and to meet the Green Requirements (GR), while the experience of M - SFN networking widely deployed in China, together with the combination of large/middle and low/mini power emissions, could be as references to the deployments of ATSC 3.0
