大学文科教师的讲义与学术经典产出——基于历史的考察 被引量:3

摘要 大学的主要功能是教学、科研,教学与科研应该相互促进。对于学者而言,作为学术经典的大学讲义的产出有三种情况:学术成名前产出、学术成名后产出、伴随教学终身产出。在教师充分投入,保证内容和表达的优秀品质的前提下,大学讲义的经典化过程包括:学生认可过程、出版传播过程、多方经营过程、学术传承过程、选家定型过程。虽然大学讲义与学术著作可以高度统一,但是将二者完全不加区分地进行运用,同样存在负面影响。一个优秀的大学教师应该有出版以课堂讲义为基础的学术名著的追求。 The main functions of the university are teaching and research,which complement and mutually reinforce each other. For liberal arts faculty in the university,their lecture notes( rather than research papers) often represent their life-long devotion to both teaching and research. As these lecture notes are sufficiently high in quality,they may also be published formally later and even become the academic canon,either before or after the teachers establish their academic reputation. Such a canonization process of lecture notes involves not only the faculty,their students and academic heirs,but also editors,publishers as well as distributors. Though lectures notes are very similar to academic monographs,it is unwise to mix them up. Instead,we should encourage liberal arts faculty to publish their lecture notes,which may become the academic canon,rather than make them produce piles of academic monographs written for researchers only.
