China's practice of urbanization in a transition period:from the perspective of impacts of urbanization on the economic growth

通过构建一个包含劳动力转移的两部门经济增长模型,分析了城市化所引起的劳动力转移对经济增长的影响。近40年的城市化实践证明,对于人口众多且市场远未完善的转型国家,中国的城市化在显著地受到国家经济环境变化影响的同时,日益成为政府推动经济发展的重要手段,成为经济增长的重要动力。

This paper constructs a two-sector model of economic growth to analyze the impacts of labor transfer on economic growth as a result of urbanization. In the transitional counties with a huge population and immature markets,it has been proved by the empirical experience in nearly past 40 years that China＇s urbanization is highly impacted by the transition of economic environment and gradually becomes an important means for the governments to promote economic development.
