Experiment on Penetration of Small Caliber Deformable Bullet on the Soap

为了提高子弹的低侵彻性能,在标准5.8 mm制式弹结构基础上设计了一种空心开花型低侵彻弹。为验证开花弹的低侵彻性能,对开花弹和制式弹进行了侵彻肥皂靶的对比试验研究。结果表明:制式弹直接贯穿肥皂靶,靶内破坏较小;开花弹未击穿肥皂靶,靶内破坏严重,弹丸撞击靶板后弹头开裂变形成花瓣状,增大了侵彻阻力,开花弹在低侵彻性和高杀伤性方面均优于制式弹。

In order to improve the bullet low penetration performance,the design of a new type of low penetration bullet based on the standard small bore bullet is proposed. In order to verify the low penetration performance of the shrapnel,the comparative experimental study of penetration on the soap target about shrapnel and standard projectile is performed. The results show that the standard projectile directly penetrate target,the target has less internal damage; shrapnel has not penetrate soap,the target has serious internal damage,the head of shrapnel becomes petal shape as the projectile hit the soap,and the shrapnel has increased the penetration resistance. Shrapnel are better than standard projectile on the low penetration and high destruction.
