This paper, through exploring the liberal education of Hwa Nan Women＇s College, probes into contemporary liberal education, emphasizing the nature of liberal education should be the education on the cultivation of human being that involves elements including curriculum settings, teaching management, campus life, social services to form an organic educational system. Meanwhile, liberal education proposes an even higher standard for both knowledge and moral of the teachers, requiring teachers to possess not only open mind but also upright conduct,to make good use of diversified teaching conditions for multiple teaching patterns, to carry out interactive learning approaches and conductive research with liberal spirits for the full realization of liberal education.
