Educational data mining is thean application of data mining technology in the field of education. This paper introduces the main concepts of educational data mining,and analyzes the feasibility of educational data mining in the experimental teaching of Universitiesuniversities,including adequate sources of data,the needs of improving the quality of experimental teaching and the requirements of improving the effectiveness of experimental teaching. The paper also puts forward the basic application steps. Finally,the possible problems and related suggestions are presented.
