Among the natural gas process units,pressure vessels,which play various important roles in storage,separation and reaction,are the key equipment.Pressure vessels require regular inspection to ensure their safety use during their service life.The essay elaborates about the pressure vessels on their types,inspection cycles and differences,and illustrates by the example of the regular inspection activities on the pressure vessels from a local high sour gas process unit,with the intent to draw some inspiration and reference to such practices at other natural gas process units in China.
