An Empirical Study on Education Poverty Alleviation by Distance Education in Tsinghua University

摘要 通过卫星和互联网等远程学习方式,清华大学针对我国贫困地区基层干部群众的教育扶贫,积累了丰富的经验,取得了瞩目的成就。文章通过对清华大学远程教育扶贫学习者满意度的调查分析,以及对扶贫教学站管理员的深入访谈研究,发现被调查者普遍认为清华大学远程教育扶贫的持续开展有效地改善了贫困地区教育环境,促进了当地社会经济与文化发展,是符合当前贫困地区干部群众学习需求的教育扶贫方式。 By means of distance learning methods such as satellite and Internet, Tsinghua University has accumulated rich experience and has made great achievements in the field of educational poverty alleviation to grass-roots cadres in poverty-stricken areas. This study surveyed learners' satisfaction by questionnaire way, and interviewed administrators at the poverty alleviation teaching station. The respondents generally considered that Tsinghua University's distant education poverty alleviation work has mostly improved the education environment of the poverty-stricken areas, and promoted economic and cultural development of local society. Therefore, it is an efficient way of poverty alleviation through education which is in accordance with the learning needs of the cadres and the masses in the poor areas.
