Miralles, a deceased Spanish architect, well-known for his remarkable architectural design and superb structural techniques, is one of the most famous architects in the late 20th century. He left behind a wealth of architectural, planning and landscape design works. This paper particularly discusses and sums up the diversified expressions of the application strategies for Miralles＇s engineering technologies under his design thoughts. This paper mainly conducts explorations and discussions from the structure-material combination, the relationship between structural elements,the presentation way of structures and the application of prefabricated components, with hopes to explore the technical ideas and the expression ways of structure application of Miralles＇s architectural designs.
