唐传奇集盛期之胜境描绘折射着文人的桃源情结,对壶中天地的追寻即是为了寻求另一理想天地,对桃源胜境之向往即是对无奈现实之否定。桃源仙境是可遇不可求的,第二次寻找时总是无路而返,亦可看作是文人希望的破灭。

The description on the wonderland in the legends of Tang Dynasty reflects literati’s love for a fictitious land of peace and happiness. Their pursuit for fairyland is to seek for another ideal land and their yearning for a land of peach blossom is the negation of the helpless reality. Coming across a fairyland of peach blossom is an utterly accidental incident, so when searching for this land again, it’s impossible for a person to find a way back, which can be regarded as the ruin of literati’s hope of that time.
