Pathological Analysis of Western Political Philosophy——Take The Republic and Leviathan as Examples

由《孝经》"身体发肤受之父母"这一基本义理观照,西方政治哲学存在致命缺陷。解读《理想国》《利维坦》这两个样本即可发现,其最基础的预设很难站得住脚:因为解构人伦,其所谓自然状态是完全不自然的;因为只见成年男子,其所论之人是不完全的。据此种种偏颇预设所建立之政治理论,当然不足以塑造和维系良好秩序。政治哲学需要一场范式革命,以儒家义理重建政治理论的大厦。

There are critical defects in Western political philosophy from the perspective of the basic proposition of the book of Filial Piety:Every person's body, hair and skin are given by the parents. Take The Republic and Leviathan as two samples of Western political philosophy,It can be found that its most basic presupposition is not valid:the so-called natural state is completely unnatural because of deconstruction of human relations;the person they talked about are not complete because they saw only adult men. The political theories established by these prejudices appeared hardly capable of creating and maintaining a good order, so political philosophy requires a paradigm revolution. We should construct political theory based on Confucian doctrine.
