中国与印度利用日本FDI的影响因素分析

Analysis of the Influencing Factors of the Use of Japanese FDI in China and India

中国和印度作为两个发展中大国和FDI重要目的国,国情有诸多相似之处,在国际事务中都具有举足轻重的地位。日本作为亚洲最大的FDI输出国,是中印两国最重要的FDI来源地之一。本文在对中印两国利用日本FDI现状进行比较研究的基础上,运用1991—2014年的跨国数据,选取基础设施、市场规模、劳动力成本等七个变量建立多元回归模型,探究中印两国利用日本FDI差异的影响因素。实证结果表明:基础设施和市场规模对中印两国利用日本FDI的差异具有显著的正相关性。并分析得出基础设施和市场规模是造成中印两国利用日本FDI差异的主要原因,应进一步推进基础设施建设、保持市场规模稳定增长,以确保中国在与印度利用日本FDI竞争中优势地位的相关结论。

China and India, as two major developing countries and important destination countries for FDI, havemany similarities in their national conditions and both havea pivotal position in international affairs. Japan, asAsia＇s largest FDI outflowing country, is one of the most important sources of FDI in China and India. Based ona comparative study of the current situation of using Japan＇s FDI between China and India, this paper uses thecross-country data of 1991-2014 and selects multiple variables such as infrastructure, market size, labor cost andso on to establish a multiple regression model to explore the factors that affect the difference in using Japan＇s FDIbetween China and India. The empirical results show that the infrastructures and market size have significantpositive correlations with the differences in using Japan＇s FDI between China and India. In the end, it comes tothe conclusion that infrastructure and market size are the major reasons that cause the difference in using Japan＇sFDI between China and India. We should further promote infrastructure construction and maintain a steadygrowth of the market size so as to ensure China＇s dominance in the competition with India for using Japan＇s FDI.
