An Analysis of the Traits and Current Conditions of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Wuling Areas

武陵地区的非物质文化遗产除了具有一般非物质文化遗产的普遍特性外,还具有积淀深厚、类型多样、多民族共有、民族性与地域性相融、价值独特、存量不平衡等特征。武陵地区非物质文化遗产处于消失、濒危、衰退、变异、复兴多种并存的状态。武陵地区非物质文化遗产的变迁,与对传统文化的认识、生产生活方式的改变、科学技术进步和现代传媒的发展、外出务工潮的影响、旅游业的推动等密切关联。

In addition to the common traits of other general intangible cultural heritages, the intangible cultural heritages in Wuling Areas exhibit some particularities： deep sedimentary deposits, various types, multi-nationalities, fusion of ethnicity and territory, unique values, and stock disequilibrium. The intangible cultural heritages in Wuling Areas are in different conditions： disappearing, dying out, recession, change, and revival. These conditions are relevant to the knowledge of traditional culture, change of the way of life, scientific and technological advancement, development of modern media, salary peasants in cities, and tourism.
