On the Essence of Ideological and Political Education from the Perspective of Values Education

在思想政治教育学中,价值常以精神或观念的方式存在,一般以真善美为价值指向。基于思想政治教育的内涵与特点分析,思想政治教育在本质上是价值观念的教育,通过理论教育、情感教育、实践教育等一系列知情意的对象化感性活动,将内化的价值观不断落实到行为中去,实现思想政治教育教人求真、教人求善、教人求美的有机统一,达到行为与价值观相契合,激发思想政治教育的原初动力,增强思想政治教育的说服力与实效性。

In ideological and political education, value often exists in a spiritual or conceptual manner, and is generally valued in terms of truth, goodness and beauty. Based on the analysis of the connotation and characteristics of ideological and political education, ideological and political education is essentially the education of values. Through a series of reasonable, purposeful and perceptual activities of theoretical and emotional education and practical education,the internalized values are continually implemented into behaviors so as to achieve the organic integration of ideological and political education of seeking truth from facts, teaching people for the good and beauty, to realize the combination of behavior and values, to stimulate the original motivation of the ideological and political education and to enhance the persuasiveness and effectiveness of ideological and political education.
