摘要
以目前市场需要为基础,调整教学目标,发掘并培养非英语专业学生更多的英语语言能力,是我国大学英语教学改革的内在需要;而对于外语院系翻译专业或方向的学生而言,相应的口译人才是培养非英语专业学生口译能力的外在需要。了解非英语专业学生学习口译的起点和可行性,分析非英语专业学生口译能力培养的困难和优势,探索出一套适合非英语专业学生口译能力培养的模式是值得研究的课题。
In order to meet the needs of today's market, college English teachers should adjust their teaching objectives soas to explore more language potentials of non-English majors and cultivate their language ability, which is the internal cause oftoday's college English teaching reform. On the other hand, it proves to be an insurmountable obstacle for English major studentsto accomplish interpreting tasks involving deeply specialized knowledge. Supplementing our interpreter teams is the external needthat requires us to develop some non-English major students' interpreting ability. So it is of significance for us to find aninterpreting ability training model appropriate for non-English majors by knowing the feasibility and starting point for them tolearn interpreting as well as analyzing the difficulties and advantages for them to learn it.
