On Craftsmanship

2016年我国政府工作报告首次提出培育精益求精的工匠精神,从国家层面倡导践行工匠精神,为中国经济注入新动能和活力。工匠精神源自于匠人自身执着器物而修身致知的文化积习和追求。从其文化累积上看,匠人精神具有深刻的文化内涵,涵盖了审视、倾听、贴心、诚信、担当、创新、坚持、最优质、卓越、遵循规律等方面;从历史发生学意义上看,它具有锲而不舍地朝向追求极致成就的内在性。其内在的孜孜不倦原始动力和精神推动了匠人成为每个国家不可或缺和最基本的阶层和经济活动创造者。

In the government work report of 2016,Premier LI Ke-qiang put forward that ＂ to cultivate the spirit of craftsman who strives for perfection＂ for the first time,which proposed to practice the craftsmanship on the national level in order to inject new energy and vitality into China＇s economy. Craftsmanship,or artisan spirit,is derived from the cultural accumulation and pursuit in which the craftsman concentrate on making their production with great care and cultivating themselves to great morality and wisdom. From the cultural accumulation perspective,craftsmanship possesses profound cultural connotation,even the quintessence of it,covering several levels of observing,listening,caring,integrity,undertaking,innovating,persisting,highest quality,outstanding,following the law of nature,and so on. From the longitudinal historical happenology perspective,craftsmanship possesses the enterprising spirit and the inherence of working with perseverance towards superlative achievement,the everlasting original energy and spirit inside which promote craftsman to the indispensable and the most basic hierarchy and economic base maker of every country.
