Strategies of Community Renewal for Aging in Place An Investigation of Naturally Occurring Retirement Community(NORC) in the US

论述了美国自然形成的退休社区(NORC)的起源与发展概况,探讨了其支援服务计划(NORC-SSP)的组织架构及主要内容。在此基础上对几所典型的NORC进行了案例分析,着重探讨其维持老年人正常生活、鼓励社会交往的社区更新策略,借鉴其经验有助于提升我国社区养老的品质,进而实现就地养老的目标。

This paper aims to study the beginning and development of NORCs（Naturally Occurring Retirement Community）. It analyzes the organization and main contents of NORCSSP（NORC-Supportive Service Program）, and discusses the community renewal strategy form aint aining independent living and encouraging social interaction. On this basis, it examines several typical NORC in the United States, with an emphasis on community renewal strategies to improve the ability of independently living and promote mutual assistance and social integration of the elderly. Learning from NORC helps improve the quality of the community for the elderly in China to realize the goal of aging in place.
