Establishment Conditions and Economic Significance of Qichun Jian in Southern Song Dynasty

蕲春监是我国南宋时期重要的官方铸钱机构。为研究南宋蕲春监的设立条件,通过实地踏察与文献研究,在今蕲春县蕲州镇发现众多遗迹遗物。分析南宋蕲春监具有的物质条件与技术条件,及当时蕲春监铸量的数据,提出南宋蕲春监对当时全国的经济发展起了较大的作用;同时,通过对南宋蕲春监的设立条件及经济意义的研究,为中国古代钱铸业的研究提供了参考资料。

Qichun Jian is an important official institution for casting money in the Southern Song Dynasty. In order to study the conditions for the establishment of Qichun Jian in the Southern Song Dynasty, through field observation and literature research, many relics have been found in Qizhou town, Qichun county today. By analyzing the material and technical conditions of Qichun Jian in the Southern Song Dynasty, and the data of the quantity cast in Qichun Jian at that time, it is pointed out that Qichun Jian in Southern Song Dynasty played an important role in the economic development of the whole country at that time. Through the study of the establishment conditions and economic significance of Qichun Jian in the Southern Song Dynasty, this paper provides a reference for the study of the ancient Chinese money casting industry.
