Bakhtin criticized Russian formalism in his writings. First of all,in methodology,formalism is divorced from the general research literature of human culture,and it will weaken the status ofliterature in the whole human culture;secondly,Bakhtin criticized the basic concept of Russian formalism,insisting that the abstruse language,material and technique,has the inclination to nihilism anddefamiliarization;finally,Bakhtin expressed his own content-form view through the criticism of formalism,and he innovatively gave the active meaning of form dynamic.
