刘勰所说的"嵇志清峻",蕴含着嵇康在生活方面的清静淳朴、在志趣方面的清远高洁及在思想批判方面的严肃峻切。在他的诗文中,这几方面纵横交错,融合交织,形成了"清峻"的风格,这种风格既沾染着正始时代的特殊氛围,又是在嵇康独特人生观的影响下形成的。
