关于“人民币”、“元”的正名问题

《中国人民银行法》规定中国法定货币的名称是"人民币",法定货币单位名称是"元",这是不科学的。"人民币"的称谓太过政治化,也没有使用货币发行国的国家名称或其简称("中国"或"中"),而且货币的名称与货币单位的名称是二元的,有违对本位货币以及货币单位命名的国际惯例,给中国货币单位的运用带来了麻烦和混乱。建议将中国本位货币的名称与货币单位名称加以统一,改为"中元"。人民币的国际化日益引人注目,为中国货币名称"正名"适逢其时。

'People's Bank Law'stipulates that the name of Chinese legal tender is'CRY',and the name of Official Currency Unit is'Yuan'.It is unscientific.The name of'CRY'is too political,at the same time it does not use the national name or its acronym of the country of currency issue.And the name of the currency and monetary unit is binary.It runs counter to international practice of naming based currency and monetary units,and brings trouble and confusion in using Chinese monetary unit.Therefore,we propose that the name of China-based currency and the name of monetary unit are to be uniformed, changed to'Zhongyuan'.Internationalization of the RMB is striking increasingly,and the name of Chinese currency is changed in the right time.
