With the value of RMB keeping on increasing,this paper summarizes the foreign exchange development course by introducing the measures that have been taken under different economic situation of three stages,that is, planned economy,track turn,market economy. It aims to make the target and purpose of authorities of foreign exchange management in the foreign exchange explicit.
