北京月季博物馆坐落在北京的＂龙脉＂上,一条穿越紫禁城的城市南北中轴线。这里是每年月季花展的主会场。这里功能多样,旨在从最广义的角度诠释（中国的）月季文化。博物馆位于大兴月季主题公园之中,在这里,游客能够欣赏到成百上千个月季品种。为了突出博物馆在公园内的位置,我们根据场地的限制条件,对主体建筑的外部形态和博物馆的功能区进行了调整。
