摘要
概念语法隐喻是决定语篇难度的因素之一,也是书面语篇的核心特征。文章从概念语法隐喻视角出发,以人教版高中英语教材和外教社全新版大学英语综合教程为例,对高中英语与大学英语教材的衔接情况进行研究。研究发现,从概念语法隐喻的角度看,高中英语和大学英语教学衔接情况较好。总体来看,概念语法隐喻的出现频率呈上升趋势,但不是线性上升趋势。因此,教材在语篇选择和改编上还有改进的空间。教材编写人员在选择语篇时需要把概念语法隐喻考虑在内,使概念语法隐喻的出现频率呈线性上升趋势,衔接得更好。
Ideational grammatical metaphors are not only one of the factors deciding the difficulty of texts, but the key characteristic of texts as well. The paper attempts to study the connection of EFL textbooks for high school students and university students in China in terms of ideational grammatical metaphor, taking New Senior English for China published by People's Education Press and New College English Integrate Course published by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press for example. It is found that in terms of ideational grammatical metaphors, the EFL textbooks for High School Students and University Students are well connected;the frequency of grammatical metaphors has an increase tendency, but not a linear increase. That means the selection and adaptation of text for EFL textbooks can still be improved. Textbook compilers shall take grammatical metaphor into consideration when they select and adapt passages to make these two sets of textbooks are better connected.
