摘要
对CAT在翻译实践中的优势作用,学界普遍认为只能在技术类文本中发挥,不适合运用到人文类图书翻译之中。本文从分析人文类图书的翻译出版现状入手,剖析当前主流的"MT+CAT+PE"翻译模式的各个环节,结合笔者运用CAT翻译人文类图书的成功案例,论证了CAT可以而且应该运用到人文类图书翻译项目之中,并在人文类图书翻译项目中充分发挥CAT在翻译效率、质量、流程管理方面的巨大优势。
As for the advantages of CAT in translation practice,the academic circles generally ignore its potentials in the translation of humanities books.This article analyzes the translation and publication environment of humanities books,and the"MT + CAT + PE"mode popularly practiced.With the help of the writer's rich translation experiences in humanities books,this paper concludes that CAT can and should be applied to the translation of humanities books,where CAT can give full play of its great advantages in terms of translation efficiency,quality and process management in humanities book translation.
