按次付费(PPV)是一种读者驱动的电子期刊论文订购模式。文章就PPV实施过程中一些有广泛争议的问题进行了讨论,肯定了PPV的积极意义,并指出作为一种新型采购模式,PPV实施过程中还存在诸多需要改善的地方,图书馆应趋弊就利,加以妥善利用。

PPV（Pay-per-view） is a reader driven E-journal papers purchase model, which has successful experiences and failure lessons in the practice. This article introduces and analyzes some typical controversial issues of the model, which affirms the positive significance of PPV, and points out that as a new procurement mode, there are still many problems to be improved in the implementation process of PPV. Libraries should take advantage of the advantages of PPV and make proper use of it.
