现代地理的知识悖论与平庸之恶:基于哈维的批判地理学视角

Konwledge of Paradox and Banality of Evil for Modern Geography:Base on Harvey 's Critical Geography Perspective

从对康德和海德格尔地理学思想的个案反思与批判中,哈维剖析了地理学与政治意识形态之间的内在关联,在此基础上,哈维敏锐地察觉到地理知识存在的"平庸之恶"问题,其不仅指向以地理知识为代表的现代知识谱系所存在的某些弊病,还指向了以地理学者为代表的现代知识分子所持有的道德悖论。地理知识的建构者们若不能正确对待平庸之恶的问题,不能有意识地觉察地理知识内蕴的非正义和被滥用的问题,地理科学就不能得到真正有效和完整的进步。为克服这种平庸之恶的现象,哈维分别从主体性的地理学者和客体性的地理知识进行了积极回应,其背后连接的是对于人类生活世界的深切关心。

David Harvey analyzes the inherent relationship between geography and political ideology by a case study of Kant and Heidegger ＇s Geographical thoughts. Then Harvey awares ＂the Banality of Evil＂of the existence of geographical knowledge,it not only pointing to some of the shortcomings of modern knowledge pedigree represented by geographical knowledge,but also pointing to the moral paradox of modern intellectuals represented by geographers. If the constructors of geographical knowledge do not correctly deal with the problems of banality of evil,or do not consciously awaring the problem of injustice and abuse for geographical knowledge,Geography can not be really get effective and complete progress. So,Harvey give his positive responses from the subject of geography and objectivity of the geographical knowledge in order to overcome this mediocre phenomenons,it is reflecting a deep concern for the human life world.
