"中西文化交流程度"问题无论从学术研究上还是在实际的文化交流层面都是一个重大课题,但国内外学术界都没有研究过。"莎士比亚作品"作为西方文化经典进入中国文化是中西文化交流的典型事件。文章通过分析莎剧的四个汉译版来阐释"莎剧作品"与中国文化交流过程,并分析其中的交流程度问题。文章认为在对以往的交流不足与交流过度的调适中,"皇家版"莎剧全集汉译本是进行中西文化适度交流的探索和尝试。

＂Degree of Culture Communication between China and the West＂is a significant topic in both academic studies and practices of culture communication. However,no research has been done on it.The communication between ＂The Complete Works of Shakespeare＂,the classics of western canon,and Chinese culture is typical in culture communication between China and the West. This essay reviews the communicative process between the two,and finally points out that the previous translations are more or less ＂over-＂or ＂under-＂in communication degree according to the perspective of cultural comparison between China and the West,based on which the Chinese translation of the RSC Shakespeare： Complete Works is a worthwhile effort adopting fo a proper degree in culture communication between China and the West.
