要想对DVD实现全面的品质控制,必须对其电信号及物理信号进行检测。在线检测仪被集成在光盘复制线上,用来检测光盘局部缺损及测量光盘物理特性,如翘曲、盘基及间隔层厚度。当前,一般而言,电信号的检测是在一定的间隔时间内。
Today, electrical testing is, in general, carried out via an off-line tester using test samples at defined intervals. Thousands of discs may fail before these off-line electrical testers find the error, causing high costs and, moreover, impacting the yield. Dr. Schenk developed ETI, its unique feature actually complements off-line DVD electrical test drives by indicating electrical signals problems in real-time during disc replication. ETI also open up a whole new dimension in the control of the molding and sputtering process, i.e. through continuous control of the reflectivities of layer LO and L1 of a DVD-9.
