专业级光盘系统的高速道跟踪伺服控制

High speed tracking method for professional optical disc system

摘要 一、技术背景随着高清电视(HDTV:High Definition Television)节目的逐渐普及,大众消费市场上的光盘系统相应地进入了"蓝光时代"。作为HDTV节目发行的重要载体,蓝光光盘无论是Blu-ray disc(BD)还是HD DVD,存储容量都在15GB以上,单倍速数据传输率达到36Mbps,可以实现连续播放一部时长约2小时的视频分辨率最高为1920×1080的HDTV节目。 A high-speed tracking control system using feed-forward control with the zero phase error tracking method(ZPET-FF control)has been applied to high-data-transfer-rate and high-density optical disk drives for professional use.To realize a high-data-transfer-rate recording of more than 200 Mbps over the entire disk area,the optical head must be controlled with an accuracy of better than 9 nm at the maximum rotation speed of about 10800 rpm for track following on a high- density optical disk.The simulative and experimental results show that the ZPET-FF control is more precise than feedback control and repetitive control.The residual tracking error is suppressed to 6.3 nm at a disk rotation speed of 10800 rpm on the Blu-ray disc recording system.the ZPET-FF control method could be used to create write and read systems that achieve the user data transfer rate of 200 Mbps or 480 Mbps(BD13.3×)over the whole disk area or on the outer track of high-speed Blu-ray discs or broadcast-use optical disks.
