Application of PRML in data storage system

PRML(部分响应最大似然)检测技术广泛用于当今的磁记录系统,同时在第三代蓝光盘系统中具有巨大的应用潜力,本文简要介绍PRML技术在数据存储中的应用。

Partial-response maximum-likelihood(PRML) technology has been broadly used in current magnetic recording systems,and shows great potential to be applied in the third-generation optical disc systems using blue lasers.In this paper,the applications of PRML scheme are introduced in the field of data storage.
