Distribution Features and Protection of Paleontological Fossils Origins in China

摘要 我国地层出露较全、化石记录较完整,已建立了大量国家级重点保护古生物化石集中产地。为了更好地保护和利用古生物化石,以53个国家级重点保护古生物化石集中产地为研究对象,基于我国水系图和DEM影像数据,采用ArcGIS10.1软件绘制了我国古生物化石产地时空分布图并对其时空差异的影响因素进行了分析。结果表明:我国重点保护化石产地在空间分布上呈现中东部多、西部少的分布情况;从分布的地质年代上看,古生代和中生代早期的古生物化石多分布在西南地区,白垩纪的化石多分布在东北地区。在国家级重点保护古生物化石集中产地时空分布差异的基础上,提出古生物化石保护措施与利用建议,以提升我国古生物化石的保护与体现科研、科普及教育价值。 The stratum of our country was exposed and the records of fossils were complete. A large number of national - level key paleon- tological fossils protection zone was established. In order to protect and utilize the paleontology fossils better, this paper focused on the concentrated production areas of 53 state - level key paleontological fossils protection zones. Based on the national water system maps and DEM images, this paper protracted a spatiotemporal distribution chart of paleontological fossils in China and analyzed its influencing factors on space - time differences through ArcGISIO. 1. The results showed that:OThe spatial distribution of the key protected fossils in China showed the distribution more in the eastern and central region, less in the western regions. From the perspective of elevation factors, key protected fossils protection zones in China were distributed in relatively flat plains and the junction of mountainous terrain with relatively undulating topography, where were the tectonic zones mostly. According to the influence factors of water system density, the key fossil protection zones in China were distributed in the range of water density of 36 - 104m/km2 . QFrom the geological age of distribution, paleozoic and early mesozoic paleontological fossils were distributed in the southwest of China. Cretaceous fossils were distributed mostly in the northeast of China. Fossil temporal distribution were ef- fected by the ancient geography, paleo - climate and other factors, geographical environment of different periods played an important role in the distribution of paleontology. On the basis of the spatiotemporal distribution differences of the national - level concentrated protection zones of key paleontological fossils, this paper put forward some suggestions on the protection and utilization of the paleontological fossils in different regions so as to enhance the protection of paleontological fossils effectively and reflected its value on scientific research, popular science and education.
