There's a borderless battle happening on the internet right now, and helmsmen of TMD(Toutiao, Meituan.com and Didi Chuxing), Cheng Wei, Wang Xing and Zhang Yiming are the contestants and, to a very real extent, the initiators.In 2018, Didi is six-years-old and has an estimated value of 56 billion USD; Meituan.com is in its eighth year with an estimated value of 30 billion USD; and Toutiao will be turning six as well, with an estimated value of 28 billion USD. The three companies have still not undergone IPOs——a rite of passage into maturity——but have shown their big tycoon sides. How immature, scared and rebellious are they as they march into their youth years. They're not satisfied with being strong, but want to flex their muscles and break free of their cages. Expansion is their weapon, and their places of origin are no longer safe.
