Vitamin D is one of the essential nutrients for people.Less than 100 years have passed from the discovery of vitamin D to now,and we have made many studies on "the fourth kind of vitamin" and have got a deep knowledge of its effects on human body and the relationship with the diseases.Vitamin D not only can regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism in body to sustain the health of human body skeleton,but also is closely related to the emergence and development of many diseases.When we look back through history,we found that the materialist dialectics was embedded in the whole progression of the relevant studies of vitamin D.We should stand in a certain height,using the dialectical and philosophical views to understand vitamin D.The further studies are needed to use vitamin D better to promote the human health in the future.
