《说文解字》示部的文化阐释

A Cultural Interpretation of “Shi(示)” Part in Shuowen Jiezi

《说文解字》是我国第一部字典,收集了反映祭祀活动的汉字63个。《说文解字》示部字充分地反映了祭祀文化,从示部字我们可以看到古代的神的种类、祭祀类别、宗庙、有关祸福等。通过对《说文解字》示部字的字形、字义进行分析,探究其所蕴含的传统祭祀文化,从而认识汉字的文化特征。

Shuowen Jiezi with nature as an encyclopedia dictionary,carries the rich historical and cultural information of the Chinese nation. China since ancient times has been known as a state of ceremonies. The Chinese characters,the window of Chinese culture,record and inherit the ancient civilization of China. This not only shows the early people's fear of nature,but also reflects the ancient social phenomenon of worship of nature.This kind of worship and fear of nature also reflect the particularity of early human's understanding of nature.Shuowen Jiezi is China's first dictionary,collecting 63 Chinese characters which reflect sacrificial activities. The characters with 'Shi(示) 'Part reflect fully the sacrificial culture. We can see the kinds of gods,the category of sacrifice,temple,misfortune and fortune,etc. This paper explores the traditional sacrificial culture implicated in the charasters with Shibu through the analysis of the form and meaning of the characters with 'Shi(示) 'Part,so as to understand the cultural features of Chinese characters.
