The Historical Evolution of the Objective of Socialist Modernization in China since the Reform and Opening-up

党的十一届三中全会结束以后,中国进入以改革开放和社会主义现代化建设为特点的新时期。近四十年来,中国共产党围绕改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的具体任务与要求,探索提出并不断丰富社会主义现代化国家奋斗目标。大体而言,改革开放以来社会主义现代化国家奋斗目标经历过"三特征""四特征""五特征"的发展阶段。中国共产党确立不同时期社会主义现代化国家奋斗目标,有利于增强人们走中国特色社会主义道路的自觉与自信。

After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,China has entered a new era characterized by reform,opening-up and socialist modernization. In the past four decades,the Communist Party of China has explored,proposed and continuously enriched the objectives of the socialist modernization by centering around the specific tasks and requirements of reform and opening up and socialist modernization. Generally speaking,since the reform and opening-up,the goal of socialist modernization has experienced the development stages from being with " three characteristics" to being with, " four characteristics" and " five characteristics". The Communist Party of China has established the goal of socialist modernization in different times,which is conducive to enhancing people's awareness and confidence in the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
