摘要
近现代中国美术史研究自1980年代兴起后在过去几十年间发生了重要变化,特别是2000年之后蓬勃发展。学界过去认为西方是促成中国美术现代化的主要因素,日本是中国画家学习西方美术的窗口。然而,通过对20世纪海外研究与展览的观察可知,随着2000年后现代中日美术交流研究框架的扩展以及全球视野的介入,中日美术史研究还须考虑西方对中日互动的影响以及中国对日本近现代美术史发展的影响。此外,许多日本学者也投入研究,梳理了中日画家的交往情况,揭示了中日交流除前一代学者所认为的充满矛盾与紧张外的另一面向。
Since its rise in the 1980 s, scholarship on modern Chinese art has undergone significant changes in recent decades, particularly after the 2000 s. Scholars formerly considered the West to be the major factor prompting the modernization of Chinese art, and Japan the window from which Chinese artists learned about Western art and techniques.The above viewpoint has been challenged with emerging global perspectives. As recent scholarship has demonstrated, the development and the interaction between China and Japan were related to shifting international situations, and the impact of China on modern Japanese art were also not sufficiently considered. Another feature of new scholarship is that more Japanese scholars have also begun to research this field. Elucidating the social networks between China and Japan, their studies complement previous scholarships' perspective that characterized the Sino-Japanese relationships as tense by adding a new dimension of positive exchanges.
