This paper introduces the operating principle of anode altimetry device, describes its operation procedures, compares the difference of performance between the anode altimetry device and the manual changing operation, analyzes the causes of error in the process of anode replacement. In the end, the method of reducing error and the new index of performance of anode altimetry device are presented.
