Focus on Basic Businesses and Sustainability and Stability for China's Banking Sector

刚刚闭幕的中央经济工作会议明确指出,中国特色社会主义进入了新时代,我国经济发展也进入了新时代,基本特征就是我国经济已由高速增长阶段转向高质量发展阶段。在此我分享三个思考：宏观环境向好为银行业行稳致远提供了坚实基础;稳货币、严监管、控杠杆为银行业行稳致远明确了发展路径;全面深化改革为银行业行稳致远提供了内生动力。

The recently concluded Central Economic Work Conference made it clear that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and China's economic development has also entered a new era, whose fundamental characteristic is that China's economy has already shifted from a high-speed growth phase to a high-quality growth phase. Highlights of banking industry include: First, better macroeconomic environment has laid a solid foundation for the sustainability and stability of the banking industry. Second, prudent monetary policy, strict regulation and de-leverage have showed a proper path for promoting a more sustained and stable banking industry. Third, deepening the reform in an all-round way has provided endogenous motivation for the banking industry to be more stable and sustained.
