Qingdao Jiaodong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum has a building area of more than 6,000 square meters with 16 exhibition halls and classrooms as well as 20 studios for inheritors, collecting over 2,000 intangible cultural heritage and folk objects, and displaying more than 60 national-level, provincial-level, Qingdao municipal-level and Jimo county-level intangible cultural heritage projects.There are not only local intangible cultural heritage projects including"Tian Heng offering sacrifices to the sea",Jimo Liu Opera, Jimo edge piping and Jimo mellow wine, but also intangible cultural heritage projects in Qingdao and Jiaodong area such as Pingdu straw plaited article, wood-block New Year painting, Gaomi clay sculpture,Jiaonan Poli red mat, Laixi puppet show and Wendeng Lu embroidery. It is a multifunctional platform which integrates cultural exhibition, tourand sightseeing,industry service, social education, leisure and amusement, and is especially suitable for giving teenagers traditional culture experience and education.
