Project-based teaching is a very practical teaching method.The introduction of project-based teaching into the document retrieval course is helpful to overcome the disadvantages of traditional document retrieval course and has great significance on the improvement of the teaching effect.The advantages of project-based teaching of document retrieval course are：reflecting the subjectivity of students,mobilizing the enthusiasm of learning;improving students＇ information literacy,promoting the comprehensive ability;acquiring the research progress of the discipline and promoting professional learning.
