Objective To investigate the influence of history of previous abdominal surgery on the pain of female patients during colonoscopy. Methods We conducted a retrospective analysis of 298 cases of female patients with endoscopic colonoscopy in our hospital from January to June in 2017,and the patients were divided into previous operation group(n=122)and non-operation group(n=176)according to whether they have the history of abdominal surgery or not.We used self-designed questionnaires and the domestic general digital pain rating scale to evaluate the degree of pain in the colonoscopy. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in general data, intestinal cleanliness and enteroscopy depth(P〉0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups in colonoscopy operation time, operational proficiency, abdominal pressure loops, and degree of the pain(P〈0.05).Conclusion Patients with previous abdominal surgery history are more likely to have pain during colonoscopy and patients with a history of lower abdominal surgery have more severe pain.
