This paper introduces the important significance of prolonging the life of steel wire core conveyor joint used in coal mine,and analyzes the main factors influencing the life of steel rope core conveyor belt joint,such as joint type,vulcanization technology,maintenance and management of daily equipment.The method of prolonging the life of steel wire core conveyor belt joint is put forward,including selecting suitable joint structure,strictly carrying out operation requirements,doing well the maintenance work of equipment,and so on.Only if the steel wire core conveyor belt is installed strictly according to the regular operation rules,can the mechanical equipment be guaranteed to work normally,thus improving the production efficiency of the coal mine and reducing the running cost.
