摘要
本文旨在研究"名词+that补足语从句""名词+不定式补足语"及"名词+of doing补足语"在学术语篇中的立场表达及其学科间的差异。研究发现,"名词+补足语"结构主要表达"可能性""信息来源""态度或评价"等3种立场,且不同类型"名词+补足语"结构主要表达不同立场。另外,该结构表达立场时存在明显的学科间差异,人文学科的使用频率约为理工学科两倍,且人文学科常基于认知推理,而理工学科更依赖实证研究。本研究结果有助于各学科学术写作的教学研究。
The study investigated the stance of Noun that, Noun to-infinitive and Noun of-prepositional complement structures in academic writing across disciplines. Results showed that noun complement structures mainly express three categories of stance,i. e.,possibility,source of information,and attitude or evaluation. In addition,different noun complement structures mainly express different categories of stance. Results also showed interdisciplinary differences in terms of the use of frequency and the source of information. To be specific,soft disciplines take stance twice more frequently than hard disciplines through noun complement structures. In addition,soft disciplines are mainly based on cognitive reasoning,while hard disciplines mostly rely on empirical studies. The results may help facilitate the teaching and learning of EAP writing across disciplines.
