To the Editor： Vitiligo is not a fatal disease; however, it can have strong social and psychological impacts on the patients. Genetic susceptibility, autoimmunity, neural dysregulation, melanin self-destruction, and oxidative stress may be involved in the pathogenesis of vitiligo.
