Building a Theoretical Model of Total Factor Productivity for Infrastructure Based on Cobb-Douglas Production Function.Using the 2001-2015 panel data of 15 provinces along the Belt and Road to test the direct and indirect effects of infrastructure. The results show:Infrastructure investment does not directly promote the improvement of total factor productivity. Instead, it increases the scale of economic infrastructure and inhibits the growth of total factor productivity; different types of infrastructure have different indirect spillover effects; information and urban infrastructure promote the improvement of total factor productivity, but the transportation and energy infrastructures have not obvious promotion effect.
