在介绍"民间文学"概念的基础上,从中国民间文学的整体格局、闽南民间文学的来源、文体范畴、民族属性和语言形式等维度,论述了"闽南民间文学"的理论内涵;梳理、评述了学术界在闽南民间文学研究方面的重要成果;并从文化价值和文学价值两个方面,阐述了闽南民间文学研究的意义。

Based on the introduction of the concept of folk literature, this paper discusses the theoretical connotation of Minnan folk literature from the perspective of Chinese folk literature, the origin or Minnan folk literature, literary do- main, ethnic identity, linguistic form and others, and also reviews the great academic achievements made in the research of Minnan folk literature. Finally it further illustrates the significance of the research.
