In this paper, the basic principle of expressway engineering surveying and the main measurement work in each construction stage are briefly described. Then based on the important role and influence of surveying work in every construction stage of expressway engineering, the specific measures to improve the measurement level of expressway are further studied. The purpose is to further improve the construction quality of the highway project in China, and provide an important guarantee for its function and service life.
